2001 IFBB AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX The “Real Deal” does it down-under! Held in Melbourne Victoria, this was the first Pro contest held in Australia for many years. For promoter Tony Doherty this was his first ever Australian Pro Grand Pris event which is now up to #8 with the 2008 event having taken place in March, 2008. Cormier's victory in Australia in 2001 was the 3rd contest victory of the season for the sensational CHRIS CORMIER who was in probably the best condition of his life. Dennis James was in superb shape and also great fun, with his own special brand of magic, pushing Chris all of the way. It was with out doubt one of the best Pro shows ever seen in Australia. 1974 NABBA MR. UNIVERSE - THE SHOW The 26th NABBA Universe contest was staged at the wonderful New Victoria Theatre situated in the heart of London, on Saturday, 21st September, 1974. This DVD includes Amateurs and Professionals with posing by the biggest stars such as Roy Duval, Chris Dickerson, Ian Lawrence, Ron Thompson, Pete Caputo, Bill Richardson, Elias Petsas, Bill Trotter, Helmut Riedmeier and many more. 2006 IFBB Australian Pro Grand Prix - Finals LEE PRIEST was back to defend his title but a ripped RONNY ROCKEL proved the best on the day. The aesthetic German outclassed some of the biggest names in bodybuilding to seize his first Pro Victory. There were no boos from the parochial Australian Gold Coast crowd, who were mainly gunning for PRIEST - they all could see that ROCKEL was a clear winner. Two great bodybuilding comebacks were also present: IFBB legends VINCE TAYLOR and FRANCIS BENFATTO. Mass monster and recent 2nd place getter at the 2006 Arnold Classic, BRANCH WARREN, also made his first appearance in Australia. The massive Austrian, MUSTAFA MOHAMMAD, was also present with his freaky proportions on display, to grab 4th place. This is a great line up and a classic show. 2007 NABBA World Championships: The Men - Prejudging Sunny Malta in the Mediterranean was host to the NABBA World Championships, held at the famous Dolmen resort at Bugibba. All classes were keenly contested in a very tough and even competition. The men's contest produced a super high standard and amazing quality in every class. In this DVD see the COMPLETE men's prejudging with round one, then every single posing routines and every callout comparison in Round 3. A bonanza of hard core muscle. The big surprise was the very strong Czech team. It was a standout, as the results below clearly show. An amazing performance of note was the victory by Bernie Cooper in the Masters Over 50 Class. He showed improvement on his winning condition from the 2006 NABBA Universe. He is an absolute marvel! Also of note was the great posing routine by eventual class 4 and overall winner Marilandio Ponchet of Brazil. Each of the Round 3 sets of comparisons were hard fought with every guy giving it his all. Not one set of comparisons has been omitted in this year's DVD.
